For Multi-Unit Operators

A 100-Year-Old Coffee Brand,
Built by People Who Run Cafés

Winfield Street Coffee began as a deli on Winfield Street in East Norwalk, Connecticut in 1925. Today we operate cafés and kiosks across Connecticut, New York and Florida — and roast our own coffee. This page is for experienced operators evaluating a coffee brand for their portfolio.

The Neighborhood Café

Premium coffee and a real food program, built for breakfast, lunch and catering — the three things that turn a coffee shop into a daily habit rather than an occasional stop.

Premium Coffee

Organic, specialty-grade beans, roasted in our own facility.

A Real Menu

Chef-crafted food that carries breakfast and lunch, not just pastry.

Catering

An office-catering channel most coffee concepts never build.

Delivery

A delivery-friendly menu and packaging as a distinct revenue channel.

Two Formats

Operators with mixed real-estate portfolios can run both — a full café as an anchor, kiosks in the transit, office and institutional locations that won’t support one.

  • The format behind our NYC subway kiosks

Where the Model Works

We are specific about real estate, and we would rather tell you that up front than after a lease is signed.

Trade area characteristics

  • Dense, mixed-use, walkable
  • Strong daytime population and nearby office buildings
  • Residential density around the site
  • Proximity to schools, universities or commuter traffic
  • Strong breakfast and lunch demand
  • Delivery-friendly geography and office-catering opportunity
  • High visibility and easy access; parking preferred but not required where density is strong

The target is not generic suburban retail. It is walkable, mixed-use, office-supported neighborhoods with real weekday and weekend demand.

We Are Not a Licensor With a Logo

We run cafés and we roast coffee. Every bean, machine and drink we hand a franchisee is one we already run in our own shops — and the coffee, the equipment, the service and the training all come from us.

Our Own Roastery

Coffee roasted to order through our sister company, Take Two Coffee — not warehoused commodity beans.

Equipment

La Marzocco specialists. Machines specified for the volume you’ll actually run, installed and dialed in.

Service

Installation, preventive maintenance and repair. A machine that goes down stops selling coffee.

Training

Barista and staff programs — the same ones we use to train our own teams.

Who We’re Looking For

We would rather grow slowly with the right operators than quickly with the wrong ones.

Multi-Unit Experience

Operators who have already built and run more than one location, with the systems and management depth that requires.

Real Estate Capability

Site selection and lease negotiation strength in your own market — you know your corners better than we do.

A Portfolio Gap

Groups with strong F&B operations and no coffee brand in the portfolio, looking for the adjacency.
